Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
MTSS is a framework that looks at a continuum of evidence based, system-wide practices that support all students’ attendance, academic skills, behavior, and social skills. These supports and strategies increase in intensity to maximize student growth and achievement.

Pre-Kindergarten
Midland Park Public Schools offers a tuition based Integrated Pre-K program for three and four year old students. This program, which is only for Midland Park residents, provides our youngest learners an opportunity to connect with their peers and build a foundation for learning in their home school.

AP & Dual Enrollment Courses
MPHS offers over thirty AP and Dual Enrollment Courses. These courses allow our students to challenge themselves academically and receive college credits. MPHS students have a 92% passing rate on their AP exams. Dual Enrollment opportunities include partnerships with: Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, Ramapo College, Kean University, and Bergen Community College.

Midland Park Public Schools has great pride in our community. Our success is a function of the strong partnerships we have with our parents and community members. Parent organizations include: The Midland Park Public Education Foundation, Midland Park Parent Teacher Associations, Performing Arts Parents Group, and the Athletic Boosters Association.

Award-Winning Performing Arts Programs
Midland Park is designated as a "Best Community for Music Education" by the NAMM Foundation. In addition to an award winning marching band, students have been recognized for drama and musical performances by being nominated for and winning Metro Awards and Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards. Vocal Music students have also received accolades and have been named to the Bergen County Choir.

Championship Athletics
We proudly offer 13 high school programs and 7 middle school programs as a member of the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference (NJIC). Our student-athletes have earned numerous accolades, including the United Soccer Coaches All-Academic Award (2021-2024) and NJIC Sportsmanship Award. Further highlights include 20 Bergen Record “Athlete of the Week” recognitions and consistent achievements in league, sectional, and state championships. These accomplishments reflect the hard work, talent, and commitment of our athletes, coaches, and community.

Extracurricular Clubs and Activities
We offers a diverse range of academic clubs and extracurricular activities, allowing students to explore their passions and develop new skills. With over 45 clubs, from science and math clubs to music, arts, sports, and leadership programs, there's something for every student to engage with and grow.

Midland Park Community School
The Midland Park Community School program is one of the largest of its type in northern New Jersey, and is open to registrants from the entire region.

High School - Junior/Senior Seminar
Junior/Senior Seminar is special program focusing on College and Career Readiness. This course is designed to work in conjunction with the Guidance Department to supplement and extend the activities that students will be completing with their counselors to prepare for the college application process or careers.
