The "dancer's body" workout is designed to help you develop a longer, leaner body.  Barre uses small, controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetition.  Define and lift the hips, thighs and glutes!  Sculpt the abs and shape the arms!  There's nothing else like it.  The format includes light weights for upper body, standing barre work for lower body, mat work for abs.  Participants will need a mat and one pair of 2-3 lb. weights.  Instructor: DENISE SWAN

This fun-filled and heart-pumping class brings out the dancer in you! Each class begins with a warm-up and dance conditioning. Chair yoga is a gentle and accessible type of yoga.  Students will practice adapted yoga postures, utilizing a chair for support while seated and standing.  Class work will focus on developing strength, balance and flexibility.  In addition, chair yoga participants may experience other health benefits of yoga, including improved breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep, and a sense of well being.  Bring to class:  Mat and Water   Instructor:  CARRIE DYE

This AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED class introduces the student to cardiac risk factors and signs and symptoms of a heart attack, cardiac arrest and stroke. Participants will learn one and two rescuer CPR for the Adult, Child and Infant, rescue breathing, choking and obstructed airway management. Mouth to mask ventilations as well as the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is also taught. Upon successful completion of the course the student will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED card in 30 days.. Instructor: RICHARD VAN DER WALL

This AHA Heartsaver First Aid class is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training. Upon completion employees will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid certification card valid for 2 years.



PILATES MAT                                                                                              FEE: $95

Beginner mat class is for people who have never tried Pilates before or those who’ve had a substantial break & need to review. Pilates is a series of precise movements that work together to develop a strong core (torso) specifically abdomen & back.  It strengthens & tones all muscles, improves posture & flexibility & unites body/mind.  Participants need to bring a mat.   Instructor will provide bands or small balls as needed.  One pair of 2 lb. weights will be needed when the instructor indicates. Instructor: DENISE SWAN


SENIOR DANCE FITNESS (DAYTIME)                                                   FEE: $60

During this 45 minute class, you will dance your way through exercises that promote muscular strength, range of motion and activities for daily living. The class will end with stretching and breathing exercises to leave you feeling refreshed and energized.  Instructor:  JULIE FINKEL

This is a slower-paced class suitable for beginners and advanced beginner practitioners. The flow of the class incorporates breath with movement and focuses on developing strength, flexibility and balance. This class will cover the traditional Sun Salutation and most of the level 1 standing and seated postures. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. Blocks and straps are optional.  Instructor: AILEEN PURCELL


ZUMBA GOLD: LATIN & POP                               FEE: $89

A shorter, simpler dance fitness class that breaks the steps down.  You have the option of increasing your muscle tone by bringing 1.0 lb.  weights. Dance is good for your balance, your brain and your mood. Join us! Please bring water and a towel.  Instructor: SILVIA ACOSTA


ZUMBA DANCE PARTY                               FEE: $99

Join us for a Latin dance party! Basic Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Samba and Cumbia! We encourage you to bring 1.0 lb. weights to strengthen and sculpt your muscles. Not only will you get a cardio workout, you will benefit from the stress relief that comes from dance. 15-20 minutes of Toning moves will be built in! Come and join us!
