Armed School Security Officer – Effective September 2024. Required qualifications below:

-HS Diploma
-Armed SORA card from NJ State Police
-25 years of service in law enforcement and retired in good standing
-Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention and crowd control
-Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management
-Must pass psychological testing, drug evaluation, and a criminal history background check
-Possess and maintain a valid State of New Jersey Permit to carry a handgun
